Jacqueline is a Senior Software Engineer at Procurated and was the first member of their engineering team. She is constantly developing new features and tools for Procurated’s users, designing and building innovative technology solutions to solve some of government’s biggest challenges.
Before joining Procurated, Jacqueline worked for Chatlogix building on client projects as well as their core communications platform, Qonvo. Earlier in her career she was a software developer at LivingSocial and the New Media Specialist for the Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Warming as well as the Natural Resources Committee in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Eastan Croson is the Director of Supplier Solutions at Procurated. She leads our sales team in developing partnerships with suppliers that help them engage public sector buyers through our platform offerings and advertising opportunities.
Eastan has an extensive background in digital advertising and media sales. Before joining Procurated she worked at Spectrum Reach where she implemented targeted advertising strategies by partnering with hundreds of small to mid-size businesses and agencies. She is passionate about helping clients find the best solutions to move their business forward, and she is excited to support our suppliers in growing their public sector business.
Jenny Doherty joined the team in July 2022 as the Vice President of the Community Engagement team, where her mission is to serve government customers by giving them a voice in the supplier performance process to inform purchasing decisions. Jenny has a broad breadth of public procurement experience in both state government and higher education. As the Chief Procurement Officer for Pennsylvania, she saved over $100 million in year one and implemented technology innovations and private-sector best practices to streamline the RFP process and created transparency and efficiency with a new e-procurement solution (Jaggaer). She also recognized the value of commercial feedback and brought together suppliers and purchasers for the Commonwealth’s first Supplier Forums.
As the Director of the Shared Services Procurement group at the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE), Jenny was a thought and change leader and transformed the siloed university procurement teams into a unified commodity-based shared services team. In parallel, she implemented SAP Ariba to make PASSHE a leader in higher education. Prior to joining PASSHE, Jenny led Amazon Business’s State Government sector, where she brought together state governments, purchasing cooperatives, and the digital marketplace to drive best-value procurement. Jenny started her procurement career as an entrepreneur with FreeMarkets in Pittsburgh, PA.
One of her favorite pastimes outside of work is traveling with her husband and daughters.
Cassie runs our Supplier Solutions team. Her vision is to create a platform to help suppliers more effectively connect with government buyers to tell their stories in terms of what differentiates their product and service offerings. Her team manages supplier education, engagement, and sales providing all-encompassing solutions to our customers.
Prior to joining Procurated, Cassie spent her career in sales for B2B online subscription services. She spent over a decade at Bloomberg Industry Group where she started at Bloomberg Government when they first launched their product and grew into sales management and strategy roles, most recently serving as the COO for a 400-person sales division. Her experiences have included bringing new products to market, building out improved sales processes, and working with stakeholders throughout the business to drive customer-facing improvements.
She lives in Alexandria, VA with her husband, son, and rescue pup, and they will soon be adding a little girl to their family in September 2022.
Genna Gold joined the Procurated team as Director of Partner Engagement & Business Development. She leads community engagement initiatives to better understand, serve and bring innovation to procurement professionals. She also acts as a liaison between the public sector and the supplier community through outreach and education.
Prior to joining Procurated, Genna was the Senior Field Marketing Manager at Yelp and a Business Specialist at TripAdvisor. She spent the past seven years in New York City but continues to move around and explore with her husband and new son.
As a Director of Marketing, Steve focuses specifically on Procurated’s public sector users - helping them to leverage the power of peer reviews in their procurement workflows and engaging them to provide their own unique insights for the benefit of their colleagues around the country. He is excited to use his cross-channel marketing experience to help make life a little easier for public sector buyers.
Prior to joining Procurated, Steve served as a Director of Marketing for Mercell - a global provider of eProcurement software - expanding their footprint in US markets. Before that he was the Content Marketing Manager for CARTO, a leader in cloud-based Spatial Data Science technology. Steve lives in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Washington, DC with his wife Lorna and his daughter Quinn.
Iman joined Procurated as a Software Engineer in 2022. Previously, he worked at a DC-based startup for 3 years, where he was an early member of a rapidly growing engineering team serving the State of Maryland and its citizens. Before that, he was a Systems Engineer working on the FHWA’s Connected and Automated Vehicle Program.
Iman has spent his career in govtech and government contracting, and he is thrilled to bring his experience to bear helping streamline the procurement process.
Iman is a native of San Francisco, CA, and currently lives in Washington, DC. In his spare time, he enjoys biking and skiing.
Karen manages finance and accounting for Procurated. She ensures the financial integrity of the company through the accounting and compliance arm, while helping to drive value and innovation by playing a key role in the company’s strategic financial planning through budgeting, projection and analytics, and deriving insights through the use of key performance indicators and metrics.
Karen also served as Vice President of Finance and Controller for Government Sourcing Solutions for 5 years, a public procurement consulting firm founded by Procurated CEO David Yarkin. Prior to joining GSS and Procurated, Karen spent nine years working in public accounting providing audit, tax, and consulting services to a variety of entities in the Greater Washington DC Metropolitan area, serving as a strategic advisor to her clients. Originally from New England, she currently lives in Alexandria, VA with her husband Steve and their dog, King.
As a member of the Procurated team since June of 2022, Dave is excited to help deliver best in class experiences to our buyers and suppliers. He's passionate that our systems facilitate accelerating growth without compromising quality or our ability to quickly react to the needs of our customers and business.
Dave has worked both in fast-paced adaptable startups as well as at the largest scales in the industry. Most recently he was at Amazon Web Services where he worked on automating and improving AWS's product and billing systems for the US Government.
Becca's goal is to elevate the role of public procurement by bringing buyers together on the Procurated platform and making it easy for them to share insights and find great suppliers. She leads the product, design, engineering, marketing, and community functions for the company. Together, her team discovers new ways to solve user problems, builds innovative solutions, and develops creative strategies to drive engagement with the government and supplier communities served by Procurated.
Before joining Procurated, Becca led product management at Xometry, a custom manufacturing marketplace. Earlier in her career, she served in technical project management and business development roles at Politico, a leading digital news outlet. She lives in Annapolis, MD with her husband and their dog, Kunu.
As Group Product Manager at Procurated, Bryan works collaboratively with a cross-functional team where he leads the strategy, discovery, design, and development of our product offering. Bryan’s passion for Product Management and natural curiosity help him uncover key insights about the procurement professionals and suppliers that leverage the Procurated platform. From there, he experiments with new ideas, measures the outcome, and iterates until we’ve found a great solution to serve the public procurement community.
At the time of joining the team, Bryan had accumulated over 7 years of Product experience, most recently as a Product Manager at Angie's List, where he contributed to several aspects of the homeservices marketplace. This included optimizations of the search results and review-writing experiences on web and innovations on the Android and iOS mobile apps for homeowners and service professionals.
Rokas joined the Procurated team as the Director of Content Acquisition in 2022 and is responsible for gathering, cleansing and normalizing publicly available data and content to power the Procurated platform. Rokas’s efforts strive to enhance the end-user experience and maximize utility of the platform, thereby helping to create a more efficient and seamless public procurement process.
Prior to joining Procurated, Rokas was the Data Architect for the District of Columbia Department of Behavioral Health, where he was responsible for building and maintaining a full behavioral-health data warehouse with a concurrent MicroStrategy business intelligence framework. Before that, he spent over 10 years at Deltek GovWin IQ where he was instrumental in building their content aggregation framework to support core Federal and State & Local procurement databases. Rokas grew up in the DC area and currently splits his time between the mountains of West Virginia and the beaches of Maryland’s Eastern Shore with his Great Dane.
Marc is the Chief of Staff for Procurated. Marc is excited to be joining a revolutionizing platform solving problems for the public procurement community.
Prior to joining Procurated Marc held several roles at POLITICO, a leading digital news outlet, and oversaw strategy and operations for the advertising businesses. He started his career with executive administration at the World Affairs Council, Washington DC, a small global education non-profit. Born in Braunfels, Germany and raised in the Lower Hudson Valley, New York, Marc and his husband now call the DC metro-area home.
Chima joined Procurated's expanding sales team in 2022. Before Procurated, Chima was at Soul Machines where he specialized in e-commerce customer engagement for their AI intelligence solution. Chima lives in the Washington, DC area, and in his free time, he loves to participate in outdoor activities, attend concerts, travel, and exercise.
Priya is responsible for ETL process management, Data modeling, Data pipeline (ETL tools) development and ETL testing for Procurated Data science Team. Before joining Procurated, Priya led the ETL/Database Management team at Altisource. She currently lives in Delray Beach, FL with her husband and daughter.
John Walters joined the Procurated team as Community Engagement Manager in 2022 and is excited to bring to the Procurated Team his 24 plus years of experience in enterprise software and public procurement.
Prior to joining Procurated, John was a co-founder of Periscope Holdings, a leading e-procurement solution for state and local governments. At Periscope, he led the development of the BuySpeed product, executing 4 statewide e-procurement implementations. He also led the NIGP Code and NIGP Consulting groups within Periscope. He is an author on procurement topics and a frequent speaker on public procurement best practices. A native Mississippian, he resides in Austin, TX where he can be found running the trails in his spare time.
David Yarkin is a recognized expert on innovation in public sector procurement. As Pennsylvania’s chief procurement officer, David led what has been called “the most sweeping transformation of state procurement in decades.” During his tenure, the Commonwealth saved $140 million annually through strategic sourcing and quadrupled its small, minority and women owned business participation rate. During his time in state procurement, David experienced firsthand a seminal challenge faced by his peers nationally - the mediocre job that the traditional reference process does in informing purchasers about a supplier’s past performance. He founded Procurated to solve this problem for the public procurement community.
David founded Government Sourcing Solutions, a public procurement consulting firm in 2005 and served as CEO until 2021 when he stepped back from day-to-day responsibilities there to focus full-time on growing Procurated. He graduated cum laude from Harvard University and lives in Washington, DC with his wife Courtney and kids Anna, Ben and Sam.
